Baby superworms are available in NOW!!! After the request of many breeders we have decided to offer baby superworms on our website. The worms are ½”-3/4” long and perfect for your small animals. Bearded dragon breeders have been using these for years to raise their baby beardeds. They are similar in size to a medium mealworm or full grown mini mealworm, but have all the nutritional and digestive benefits of a superworm!

Great Lakes Hornworm is proud to announce that we are able to offer home grown superworms to the public. We raise and produce all our own worms which means you will be getting the freshest worms possible, no dead or dehydrated worms here! We offer two sizes: Small (1.0”) and Large (2.0”).

Superworms a.k.a King Mealworms (Zophobas morio) make a great feeder for all insect eating species. They have less chitin in their exoskeleton than mealworms which make them easier to digest. They are constantly moving which will grab your animal’s attention immediately. We feed them a high quality diet to ensure the highest nutrition going into your animals.

Storage: Keep superworms around room temperature (70ºF-80ºF) for optimum results. They can be stored in bran or our premium gutload for added beneficial nutrition.

Bedding / Food:

Our custom made superworm chow provides all the nutrition that these worms need to grow. You can use it as a bedding material or offer it as a gutload to your insects. Crickets, mealworms, superworms and roaches all enthusiastically eat this chow. All the ingredients are properly mixed and then ground into an edible sized powder.
